Abraham Pierce, Jr. was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts in January 1638.
He married Hannah Baker, daughter of Francis and Isabel Baker of
Yarmouth, Massachusetts who came to America in the ship Planter 1635. He
married second Hannah Glass of Marshfield, Massachusetts in Scituate,
Massachusetts on October 29, 1695.
Abraham inherited most of this father's estate which was on the west side
and adjacent or very close to Indian Head Pond in the present town of
Hanson, near the section of the town known as Bryantville. The present
Rt. 58 was the road to Massachusetts Bay Colony and was cut through the
lands of Abraham Pierce, Jr. The location of his home and that of his
father, Abraham Sr., was west of Indian Head Pond and just east or west
of Rt. 58. It was just north of the junction of Rts. 27 and 58 in
Bryantville
