Dear Aunt Lucille and Uncle Alvin,
How are you? I am fine. I borrowed Grandmother's stationaryto drop you a note. I certainly enjoyed staying at your home. Most of all though I enjoyed the long rocking you gave me until 10:00 p.m. That was the besttime I've had in a long time! And the ride Uncle Alvin gave me was so thrilling!!!
Mother told me that if you hadn't kept me, we would have never completed moving. She certainly did appreciate your taking care of me. I do hope I didn't wear you out because I want to come see you again real soon.
I'm enclosing the pictures promised to you so long ago. Thank you again for the lovelytime I had at your home.
Love, Billy
PS - In case you are wondering how Igot so smart, I inherited it from my father.
