R.O. Bell Sr.
R.O. Bell, 84 died Friday afternoon in Whitewright after an extended illness. He had been in Whitewright for the last yearand a half.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Monday at the Renfro-Barrett Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Tommy Ingle. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Renfro-Barrett Funeral Home.
Mr. Bellwas born Dec. 21, 1883 in the Dripping Springs Community, the son of the lateMr. and Mrs. W.M. Bell. He was married on Dec 1, 1901 in Sherman to Miss Mattie Savage. He was a lifelong resident of the Grayson and the Fannin county area, and was a retired farmer and rancher. He attended public school in Grayson County and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one son, R.O. Bell Jr. of Bailey; two daughter, Mrs. Cleo Barentine of Phoenix, Arizona and Mrs. Les Tribble of Sherman; one sister Mrs. Ollie Arnold of Sherman; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The family will be at the Renfro-Barrett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Tom McKee, Bob Goble, Johnnie Burleson, Lynwood Hale,Otha Turner and Grady Giddins
