had dairy cattle until he changed to black angus beef cattle.
he ran a hostel with wife, had horses and faltboats (kayaks) for river trips
had 2 operations for undiagnosed growths
had pace maker, and alzheimers.
after he went blind he took 2 trips to Alaska and 2 trips to visit cousin eleanor in PA.
he loved music and listening to talking books
in 1974 he and genevieve published "klondike Diary", written by his father and uncle norman about their trips in 1888 and 89 to the gold rush
