Margaret Catherine joined the Sisters of Divine Providence Roman
Catholic
Order of Nuns and took the name Sister Zachery. She enter the
convent July 7, 1897, became a novice October 1. 1897 and took
her first vows August 21, 1902. She professed her final vows
June 22, 1907. She died while in service at Campti, Louisiana.

First Lieutenant- Enlisted in Co. B 6th Arkansas Cavalry, at Warren ,Arkansas, May 12, 1862; elected first lieutenant, August 1, 1862;Promoted to captain, April 15th 1863. Was captured at Big Blue,Missouri, October 22, 1864; confined at U.S. Military prison, Johnson'sIsland, Ohio; transferred to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, February 15, 1865,stood trial before a U.S. Military Court; took an oath of allegiance atPine Bluff, May 30, 1865.
