The will of Samuel Bradford of Plympton gent., dated 26 Jan. 1729/30, proved 20 May 1740, names his wife Sarah, sons John, Gideon and Williams; daus. Mary Bradford and Sarah Bradford. On 14 May 1745 the estate was redistributed, chidlren Abigail and
Phebe being born since the will was drawn and Samuel was born posthumously they were granted shares.
Edward of Tiverton RI left her in his will: "Legacy to my daughter Sarah wife of Samuel Bradford, so much as shall make up what I gave her in my lifetime (which shall appear by my book) one hundred and thirty pounds.
On 2 July 1751 Mrs. Sarah Hunt swore to her account as guardian for her son William Bradford
