1. Located on Page 460 of Index of Revolutionary War Pension Applications in the National Archives.
2. Genealogical Abstracts of Revolutionary War and Pension Files. Vol III Name of Ray is sometimes spelled as Rea. This abstract tells us that Andrew and Henrietta were married on Aug. 25 1779 inAlbermale Co. . VA. Children and birth dates are listed. Mary is not listed but it does show as signed power of attorney in Warren County KY in 1852.
3. Found in Deed abstracts of Warren County compiled by J. M. Murray whereAndrew sold his son Thomas a tract of land for 1.00 in April of 1820.
4. Found a great documint in An Album Of Early Warren County Landmarks by Irene MossSumpter. It provides a lot of history on the Ray family home and children of Andrew.
5. 1809 Warren Co. Tax List shows Andrew with 130 acres on Big Beaver dam creek. Also in 1811 1812 and 1813.
6. 1826 thrrough 1833 show Andrewon Beaver Dam Creek with 75 acres. In 1834 and 1835 he is found with no land. In 1836 he is not found but Henrietta is found.1. Located on Page 460of Index of Revolutionary War Pension Applications in the National Archives.
