from Kit Linse:
unt Frances actually went back to Germany and found
out information about the family. My understanding from her is that the Linse
family originally came from the Alsace Lorranine area and moved to the
Dunstelkingen area, east of Stuttgart, German. I could not link further
information until Aunt Ginge went to the Catholic Church in Erie and got the
initial information about Great Grandfather Linse from the marrage
information on file at the Church ( Married Barbara Rastatter). Included in
this information was the information about Great Grandfather's parents.
>From here we get the information about Wurtenburg, Germany and his mother
Francesa Sing. Note: As you know, the spelling of names depends on the
person writing the information. I then took this information, along with the
asumption that our German Linse family was also Catholic, and went to the
Morman Church to do a search. Through this search I found informtion about a
Linse family taken from a Katholish (Catholic) chuch, in Dunstelkinger
(City/Town), Jagstkreis (County), Wuerttemberg (State), Germany. it is possible that the Linse family lived in Neresheim or surronding area and went to the Catholic church in Dunstelkinger.
