MRS. LAURA S. BLACKSTONE

Mrs. Laura S. Blackstone, 78, of Crockett, died Friday morning in a Grapeland hospital.

Mrs. Blackstone had lived in Crockett the last 10 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

The remains were taken overland to Houston for funeral services. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston.

Survivors include five sons, Vick Blackstone of Florida. Bob Blackstone of Saudia Arabia, Jim and Dave (Dude) Blackstone, both of Houston and Bert Blackstone of California; four daughters, Mrs. R. J. Hafner and Mrs. Dorothy Melvin, both of Crockett, Mrs. Josie Bailey of Montana and Mrs. Jessie Billings of Lexington; 28 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
