Leap year love is below par with Miss Edna Scheetz, who makes popular tunes sound like opera on the piano at Jenkins Music Co. So long as she can cajole the piano keys into modernjazz and make her living independently, she will laugh at wedded bliss. Takea look at the picture, boys, and do you think thats right? I ask you.

"Icant imagine a girl with nerve enough to ask a man for a date, much less, propose to one of them," she said. "Id go on forever dateless and alone if it was up to me to do the asking. I shudder at the thought of asking a man to adance or a show. Its funnier than ever to think of asking one to marry. You dont suppose girls ever do?" Miss Scheetz said, her blue eyes wide with the question.

"I like to go with different boys without a thought of settlingdown to one. I figure Id be missing too much. Of course, girls ought to get married when they have dated enough to never have any regrets. But Id hate to be a bum sport after I was married and remind my husband that he was causing me to lose out on lots of pleasure. The best idea is to get it out of yoursystem before you take the leap, I think," she said.
