With rev. var deposition of another Abraham Womack who enlisted from Chatham county, N. Car. and was in Hancock county in 1786, who died in Monroe county, Ga., We have two Abraham Womack's coming from N. Carolina and Virginia into Georgia early. This Abraham is shown in IGI as marrying in Granville county, N. Car. which borders Virginia on 31 March 1763 computer batch numbers 8801506 sheet 55 and 811566 sheet 57, daughter Cisley Womack's marriage in Caswell 22 Jan 1787 to James H. McFarland; Greene county, Ga. marriage. #975.8612V2l, pg. 00071 Mancil Womack marr. to Sarah Rogers.. Records Washington county, Ga.#975.8672R2d, Head right and bounty land records, pg. 25 Jesse Womack 1787, Joseph Womack 1786 and William Womack 1798. Abstracts Hancock county, Ga. deed books(975.8623R2m, pg. 118) Abraham Womack 25 May 1797 to Francis Coleman, land waters Graybill's creek, 75 acres, signed Abraham and Martha Womach. Pg. 133 Abraham Womack for natural Love and aaffection to son, Mancil, negro girl 6 April 1796 wit: Stephen Lawrence & David womack, same pg. Abraham Womack for love and affection grants daughters, Lucretia Howard, Sissley McFarland and Nancy Stone, negroes, wit: Stephen Lawrence & David Womack. Pg. 8 Abraham Womack wit: to deed March 1792 Wm. Boren of Wilkes to Robert Bryan of Green county, land Greene county on Powell creek. This man probably born to one of many Womack families in early Virginia records, then moved into bordering county of Granville and went further west from there. One of his daughters married in Caswell and this is proven to be his daughter from the married name of her husband matching the marriage earlier in Caswell. This man close in age approximately to your Abraham and living for a time in same county in Georgia but your Abraham died later in Monroe county, Georgia. Both of these Abrahams are close in age and both were in N. Carolina previous to coming into Hancock county, Ga. Since they are close in age, they may be cousins??
