Deed From the Heirs of
William Howell to Andrew Howell

Date: 8 May 1825

This Indenture made this Eight day of May in the year of our Lord one

thousand Eight hundred and twenty five, Between all and each of us whose names are underwritten and who are the sole heirs of William Howell Deced. formerly of the County of Grayson and State of Virginia of the one part and Andrew Howell of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of full value received and simple satisfaction made to us by the said Andrew Howell We have given granted bargained and sold and have by these presents do give grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Andrew Howell one certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and thirty acres in Grayson County be the same more or less situated in Grayson County aforesaid part of said lands being on the on the waters of new River and part on the waters of fox Creek a brand of said river the said lands being the very same that the said Andrew is now in possession of and bounded as followeth Towit, Beginning at a red oak near the gr[ave?] yard then Southwardly by Sd [said] Andrews fence crossing the corner of said Andrew and George Howell thence Southwardly to the forks of a branch thence up the right hand fork of said branch to the head thereof thence crossing a ridge to another branch thence down Sd [said] branch to the old line of William Howels thence to the first Station together with all [?] to the said lands belonging with the reversion, and reversions remainder and remainders of all and Singular the aforesaid bargained lands with every part and parcel thereof and every appurtenance appertaining thereto, To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained lands with all their rights and numbers unto the said Andrew Howel, and we the said heirs of the aforesaid William Howell do hereby for ourselves Jointly and Severally and for all our heirs warrant and forever defend the right of the aforesaid lands unto the said Anderw Howell his his [as written] heirs and assigns forever against the Claim or claims Whatsoever all and each of Us or our heirs or assigns. In Testamony [?] we have hereunto set our hands and seals this day and year first above Written
