1. Sampson Howell (born 1718 Warren, New Jersey; died 1803 New Jersey) married around 1740 Jane Vanderbilt (born 1722 New Jersey; died 1805 New Jersey). She may have been the daughter of Jacob Vanderbilt and Neiltje Teunisson.

2. Levi Howell (born 1748; died 1825 in Warren, New Jersey) married about 1769, Mary Green (born 1748 New Jersey; died 1836 New Jersey). She was the daughter of Samuel Green and Hannah Wright.

5. Lewis Rogers Howell (born 1850 in PawPaw, Illinois; died 1929 in Frankfort, Kansas) married Millie Crevier (born 1863; died 1946 in Kansas) in 1885 in Liller, Kansas. Millie was the daughter of Charles R. Crevier (born 1810 Quebec; died 1894 Frankfort, Kansas) and Mary Tarsela Marcott (sp?).

	i.	William Lawrence, born 1889; died 1973. He married Anna B. McGonigle (born 1895; died 1984), the daughter of Miles McGonigle and Ellen Erskine of Ireland
	ii.	Fred T. Howell, born 1886; died 1985. He married Mary Hawthorne
